Sorry to read that Dave Myers of the Hairy Bikers duo has passed.

I just hope that Dave's family and Si are able to cope with his passing.

I watched the last programme he made about his illness and fight to recover, he fought so hard bless him and it was a very moving programme.

I didn't know him but I think I would have liked to.

Yes. I used to listen to their show on planet rock radio, very funny and they used to wax lyrical about their love of all things rock 🤟and also two wheeled. Only 66yrs old too. Sad day

i met him years ago, before he was famous. me and a mate bought a sidecar from him at his mums house in barrow, he was just as nice and affable as he came across on the telly. about 3 or 4 years afterwards my mate rang me and said 'that guy we bought the sidecar from in barrow is on telly doing a cooking program......' rip, he was just one of lifes nice guys.
