I have just received my May copy of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics. It includes an article "Buyers Guide-XBR 500" inside for anyone interested.

Yes, just seen that. A bit superficial - a prospecive XBR owner would do much better to search this forum!

I did like the lathe article however although the writer was far too negative about Chinese lathes. I have one and it's fine although I wouldn't want to make a crankshaft on it!

ps I no longer buy magazines as there's usually very little of interest, and I end up wth huge piles of stuff that no-one wants. However, my local library (Worcs) has a brilliant scheme whereby you can "borrow" digital versions of various mags including that one. Easier on the environment and my pocket!
