As promised in another reply, these are the contact details for a company that I have found, albeit a wee while ago, supplying a wide range of rear shock absorbers at reasonable prices for our type of motorcycles.

As you will see they supply Betor et al direct from UK, so no messing about with currency etc and they were very helpful when I contacted them directly by telephone.
I cannot find an earlier posting that I surmised might be here when using the 'SEARCH' facility. I hope this helps others.

Looks like a one stop shock shop (try saying that after a couple a single malts😁) I'll probably give them a shout when I'm ready for sorting out the rear end (ooo eerr) of the tracker.

I used to know the guy who started this off-Pete Waters.He sold on the business quite a few years ago.Bike Revival was originally Pete's bike shop in Astwood Bank outside Redditch.I bought my first KH250 project from him in bits for £50 in 1995!We became good friends and used to to quite a bit of autojumbling at Stafford and the like.He then went on to set up one of the first web sites for Kawa triples and eventually specialised in shocks for mainly old jappers and then Brits and Italians.Again he was quite ahead of his time setting up a website which did well for a time but then everyone started selling shocks and prices were driven down and there were problems with quality control from suppliers. I still have a pair of shop soiled rear shocks which he let me have very cheaply on my RS 250.

Yep,i remember him demo-ing it to me and being very non tech i was amazed what could be done.As you say Michael-quite ahead of most others at the time.I had another friend who let me access some very early bike websites in the USA on his computer and i could not believe the info that was available.........
