You SO have to do the Tauerntreffen mate, it's right up your street. There are guys there who out-gadget you in a big way (and that's saying something).

I'll leave it to Jethro or Jules to tell you about the stuff one Z1300 owner had fitted to his outfit.

Seriously, I reckon you'd enjoy it a lot.

Mind you, it's half full of northerners already... one of them had even ridden there on a bloody C90  :o

This will be the same fella who was leaving the elefant in 2006  more or less as we arrived ,no doubt.

When allowed?

My neighbour at the TT: Andy on his C90 (took him 3 days to get to the TT).

The K1300 owned by “Rifleshooter” (his name in german):

Gripheaters, helmetcollarheater, sidecarheating and cookingpot (sharing sausages all the time) hooked up to the watercoolingcircuit and an extra alternator on the sidecarwheel. I believe (not sure though) this guy has 30 to 60 Kawasaki 1300. Stationary revs: 400 rpm to cook sausages.

I'm working on it  ;D

Anyhow, the Bonneville is air cooled, fitting filters to get the CO2 out of the heating circuit isn't easy. Also, pointing out to my dear wife that I'm off into town to pick up a couple of scrubbers is not going to end well  :-[
