Gents,
What would be the collective thinking on picking materials when having a spoked wheel rebuilt? Stainless to avoid corrosion or galvanised for strength? What's the take on brass nipples (sounds like a sheep disease or rock band I know and bound to excite Jethro, but I am still talking material choices).
This is the Bonneville BTW, a known snapper of OEM spokes so while this is a second set of wheels bought from the scrappers I won't be doing anything more that shipping them to the builder and telling him to do the necessary.
