Nice job Ian, what with you and Arnold I don't stand a 'cat in 'ell's chance with my rebuilds. Got the RS down to the crankcase now and I'm waiting for Wemoto to send me a 22mm flywheel puller (half the price D.Silver charges) then I'll split the cases. Looks like I'll get away with gaskets/seals/rings/headrace set/powder coating + odds and sods.
                                                                          Regards............Dave.

Tough job indeed. Congratulations.

Are you exhaust pipes standard or do you pick them on a monoshock SRX ?

The whole exhaust WAS a standard monoshock. I didnt have to modify the header pipes but the "silencer" was shortened by about 20m/m to give me clearance for the back wheel as the twin shock wheelbase is shorter.

Thanks to Yamaha standardisation. I fiercly thought that the pipes of 3SX will fit well in a 1XL or 1JK .... And I'm still looking for exhaust pipes of 3SX  ;)
