Crankcase vacuum valve
« on: June 19, 2013, 05:45:25 PM »
I bought myself 2 one way valves for my engine breather, they create a good vacuum in the crankcase, makes a huge difference to oil control and even a very tiny hp improvement. I had 2 very small oil weeps, one on the rocker cover gasket and one on my clutch mount, they have disappeared now  thanks to this mod.
I think it would be a good mod for all single cylinder bikes

I have tried every plant hose, motorcycle and auto store in the north of Ireland and i get the same reply "we dont sell anything that small"
sorry for jumping in of topic.

Hi to make up the head pipe you will need 1 m8 banjo for 5mm hose fitting, a length of 6mm stainless braided hose, 2 dash4 hose clip finishers and a m8 90 degree banjo for 6mm hose, all obtained through ebay
