Great bike shop
« on: June 05, 2018, 07:03:49 AM »
Hi Guys

I was on the M62 near Rochdale yesterday, came out of the services and to my dismay saw my rear tyre was as flat as a pancake and I wasn't carrying a spare tube. Phoned the RAC and the young patrol man who arrived phoned around some bike shops. Unsurprisingly the big shops he tried couldn't help (not tubeless, no diagnostic plug, don't want to buy a new bike etc). However he phoned a mate of his who was a motorcyclist and he recommended trying B&C Motorcycles on Oldham Road in Manchester.

They could help and the RAC guy led me there by stopping to inflate my tyre with his on-board compressor a couple of times.

B&C Motorcycles is proper old school, smells of oil, petrol and experience and they had me back on the road with a new tube in a couple of hours, no problem or fuss just a couple of blokes who know what they are doing.
