The other day, I was in dire straits.
My carb had emptied the contents of the fuel tank into the engine, result was a wet sump full of petrol
To add to this it started raining and I don't have a work shop, at a loose end and no idea how to resolve the problem, I remembered seeing a sign in the front garden of a house round the corner advertising a bike mechanic, I ran round there a fella answered the door, he said no probs bring it round now, I dropped it off.
Within 3 hours he called me to say he'd found the problem and said he'd call me in the morning when it was done.
Following morning a call to say the bike was done and asked "is forty quid ok?" CRIKEY!! what can you get for forty quid nower days? not a lot
My bike was sorted!!
