Yes, a fantastic rally. Me and Ali weren't even there on a bike as we just called in for the last day of our holiday. But nobody could say anything cause we had two massive dogs with us  ;)
Great to meet up with so many Thumpeteers again, and new XT friends. And Baskerville Hall is one mad venue. 90 trainee vets having their formal, a bunch of Landrover off roaders, and the XT rally all in the same mad country mansion  :D

Yes, this is true, the squid fishing magnate and ex PM of the Falklands is an XT rider and came over specially for the rally. Turns out we had a mutual friend i hadnt seen in years, who became head of Ascencion Island. You couldn't make it up, or was it a Wye Valley Butty Bach fuelled hallucination  :-\
