Enjoyed your write-up, especially the pics. I'd say congratulations on doing it, but since you're all veterans of this type of winter camping malarkey... 8)

Tim, where's the tales of being lost in blizzards, having to dig your own snow holes, and living on hard tac rations!
Only messing, sounds like a fantastic trip, plus you were with a great bunch of guys, apart from Mark obviously  ;)

I think eating deep fried frogs legs is like surviving on hard tack.

The Thursday ride in such foggy conditions on small roads was very challenging, however some of the route winding up hairpins bends at 9 pm in the evening totally knackered made up for it.
