Aye Michael, a nice bit of kit.

Just stick the license plate on the back, rather than down the side, it just looks "Pants!" to me. ;)

Ah ya see, that’s the secret. Angle grinder, swiftly followed by a big hammer then lots n lots of welding, polishing and painting. One eventually ends up with something as cool n dandy as the ascot 😉👍

FT500, yes. Ascot? Posh day out at the races? Someone at Honda had one too many saki's 🤔

I think the FT was called the Ascot for the American and European markets Matt. I do stand to be corrected on this though 😉👍

Yes, they were called The Ascot in America. I always liked the styling, but the engine wasn't one of Honda's best. My girlfriend had one back in the day but they seem rare these days.

I don't think Ascot referred to the English Ascot but rather to Ascot Raceway in America a flat track venue. Go on I bet you knew that really.

Sir! Sir! So why did they call the Yamaha YZF600 "Thundercat" then?

Knowing Yamaha it was for the extra shove from the tuned exhaust!  ;)

"An act done upon some poor unsuspecting male. A person approaches from behind, and uppercuts between their legs with their thumb, pointer, and middle fingers all straight up in a triangle pattern, making sure the thumb contacts the butthole, and the pointer and middle finger pokes both testicles. All while shouting "THUNDERCAAAAAAAAAAT!" as loudly as possible."  :o :o :o ::)

Or, maybe not! :-[

Good health, Bill
