On a recent visit to my local pub, i noticed they were offering 4 pint 'takeaways' with a 20% discount ....
so, before i left i asked for 2 takeaways, one with 4 pints of Abbot & one with old speckled hen, and got an extra 5% off ... bargain!
safely stowed in my backpack i headed off home ... a mile up the road i was very nearly sideswiped by a van, and it got me thinking, if i wasn't careful i'd be off my bike and lose my precious cargo .... so at the next bus stop shelter i stopped, unloaded my beer and sat down for a quiet drinking session .....
It's just as well i did because i fell off my bike 5 times before i got home ........
