skorp clutch lever
« on: May 29, 2007, 10:19:18 AM »
Hello,

has anyone got a spare skorpion clutch lever and/ or handlebar mounting?  I'm actually willing to pay....!  Its for the racer, and only as a spare for the next dumping.  Just missed one on the Bay recently, was only £4-odd.  Grrrr!

Anyway, if anyone has a spare, I'll gladly have it.  If not, no worries...

andy

ps.  FZR400RR span-adjustable brake lever...?  No, thought not!

Sorry Andy, no clutch lever - but I do have a couple of SZR (brembo) front brake levers and master cylinders that came with the bike and now it's twin disc are no use to me. Can you use them for the price of the postage?

If Andy doesn't want them I would be interested

Hi Andy,

I'm Oop North - just south of Manchester. Drop me your address details to mav617@rock.com and I'll post them off to you. Have a look a them and see if you can use them, I'd rather they saw glory on the racetrack than sat around cluttering up the garage. If you can't use them perhaps you could pass them on to Steffan.

Cheers,

Rog K (Mav)

This is the sort of 'recycling' that we should be promoting. What about another section in the classified - 'Swop'? I for one have quality items in the garage that I wouldn't dream of selling, ie. part worn off-road tyres, cush drive rubbers, discs, cables etc. etc. I would gladly swop these with someone who needed them for something of equal 'interest'.

Shall we start a 'Mono Colour Swap Shop' with GC as Noel Edmonds and SteveD as Cheggers?

I suspect eBay might be pi55ed off though!

ha, that's why I'm using Mav - so as not to add to the general confusion. I even added the K but it seems this didn't suffice either!! I'll stick with Mav on the forums in future. Two Rog K's (short for Kay in my case) - you're not the other Man City fan also by any chance??

Me I am a Rog Key - so Rog Kay and Rog Key not bad for a small community?

Thats a cracking idea!!  I have lots of bits in my "too-good-to-throw-out" box:

skorp front guard
skorp rear subframe (butchered for racing but straight)
skorp fairing mount mirrors
A million big ugly OEM indicators
Half a million small, destroyed aftermarket indicators

food for thought...

I know the feeling this is why I am known almost universally amongst thumpeteers as Steffan
