Seriously, it suggests a more traditional site, and I think mention is made of Capel Curig to illustrate this type of site rather than saying that's where the rally will be. Given the snow in recent years, this could mean a snowy Snowdonia based camp site  rather than riding through the snow and then onto Anglesey.

Steve - my brother intends bringing some sort of shelter and we're keen to have the same sort of set-up that you managed at llanthony, namely a tarp overhead, a windbreak and a couple of burners going. Perhaps we can combine tarps?

That sounds a good idea. I know that big Mark is planning to bring some charcoal and Simon now has his burner so we should be able to fabricate something quite impressive and homely should the weather be inclement!

Happy to bring a tarp, paracord and poles.  If I ever get my act together and get a working MZ and sidecar then I would bring a lot more than that.

My giant canvas bell tent and a woodburner would be nice.
