Pickled!
« on: October 07, 2010, 07:35:43 PM »
I just made my first chili pickled eggs tonight.
Picked up some eggs whilst on my daily evening cycle, got the chilis from the greenhouse, and the cider vinegar from some cider I'd kept back from some I'd bought earlier in the year and turned to vinegar.
Roll on 6 weeks time.
Next up pickled chilis on their own and then onions.
Carry on.

As a break from the chili vodka would anybody prefer anything chili pickled by way of a challenge this year?  The eggs are always popular.
Note to Self: Shiney side goes UP.

I'm just about to make some chili pickled onions using onions and Scotch Bonnet chilies from the garden. Should be ready for the Dragon! - in fact I think I'll label them as 'Dragon's Breath'.

Going in is ok, it's the 'Bonanza Map' effect when exiting worries me. ::)
