Honda GB500 dual saddle?

Hello,

I'm currently looking at buying a Honda GB500, and I'm very interested in the possibility of fitting a dual saddle. I'm aware that Corbin offers a dual saddle, but I was wondering if any of you would know about other seats that could be fitted on the bike?

Also, passenger footpegs? Where could I get hold of these? And are these easy to fit?

Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

Not really sure about saddles, they are quite rare so may be expensive. The XBR saddle won't fit. If you have the solo saddle you might want to try and swap it- a lot of people prefer the solo.

As for passenger footpegs, you need the footrest hangers from an XBR - they fit straight on and give you the mounting for the footpegs. Have a look on Ebay or check the sale section here - I think TurkeyUK was selling a load of XBR bits a while ago but I'm not sure if he had any footrest hangers.



THere is a Cobin seat on German Ebay.

Thanks for the info! I guess this will turn out to be quite expensive if I need footrest hangers as well as pegs plus a seat from Corbin. I think I'll consider another bike, which take two people without modifications - like the Yamaha SRX600.

or an XBR- the 'seat hump' is just a cover for the passenger section of the saddle and they come with passenger footreats.  ;)

My dual saddle GB is for sale on Ebay at the minute and I can supply it with XBR footrest hangers if required.
