Irish Rally
« on: February 14, 2012, 04:45:47 PM »
The Irish Section aka The Brains Trust, would like to announce a rally on the weekend Fri 27th -- Sun 29th July. Campsite details can be found at www.shepherdsrestpub.com . It's approx. 4 miles outside Draperstown.  We do not have sole use of the site so numbers will be limited to 25-30 on a first come basis. (Mark counts as two). No problem if anyone wants to stay for extra days. Let me know as soon as you can. I'll post more info about site fees etc over the next couple of weeks.

I googled Draperstown and it's in Ireland   :o

Will they let the Welsh in considering what we've been doing to them in the rugby lately. ;D

I should be ok for this one. Better put me down for 3 as the wife may want to come.

Hi Ronnie
Had been looking at campsites in Northern Ireland and this was on of the places I'd ear-marked. I will certainly be coming and I'm sure I can persuade Martyn over a few beer at the Derby Beer Festival this Friday!!!!!

Looking forward to it already.

I had high hopes for this rally. Having just seen the first four replies, maybe it's best to cancel the poetry reading for the Friday evening.

Hi,

I'd say maybe - Bettina and me will think about it! We have clearly not enough holidays for all our activities!

So far so good. Half dozen "locals" to be added to list. www.nutttravel.com might be worth a look.

The thought never entered my head. As if I would ever slight you. I'm upset now!

Martyn and myself are going to have a few days touring beforehand. Have had a quote of £108.00 for bike/rider OUT Holyhead-Dublin RETURN Belfast-Liverpool. If you want details of the ferry drop me a PM.

See you there.........
