Slightly offtopic but here is the Monoshock on its travels (but mentioned in an earlier posting)....the road in the foreground is the A5 Watling Street....possibly one of the busier roads through Shropshire and not recommended for taking photos of bikes on!

Bit more progress.... wiring virtually done, just needs tying up and tidying up. Odds and ends being repainted as I go along just to brighten things up a bit..I dont want it looking like a dustbin after all ;). Plenty to do as yet.

Bit of progress, a few bits sent off for plating (including bits off the engine and carbs) yesterday. Hopefully get them back Friday so I can "motor on" over the holiday. LH switch now rebuilt from 3 different switches so now I have a "Pass" switch.  The original one I fitted was from Germany and didnt have a pass switch  on it, and I have accumulated a few broken ones so put them to good use.
Also just found a piece of stainless bar in my toolbox so I will use it to make a gearchange rod with LH/RH threads on it. (managed to borrow an M6 LH die  ;D).

Sunday 10th June.....Oil Tank repainted, front top end finished apart from fitting levers,cables, possibly a fly screen, (&  re-routing of front brake pipe..maybe)

Friday 20th July
                         Im just waiting for paintwork. Seat has been recovered in more appropriate colours to match new colour scheme. (Old cover will be available if anyone is interested, very cheap). Carbs to rebuild, and just a few odd jobs to finish off. My timescale was never really fixed for this but wanted to complete it before main holiday. Hopefully I may manage it. Im afraid my colours wont be as dramatic as carbon motos excellent job on the honda. Hopefully post more pics over the next few days.
Thanks once again for support in doing this (bigger than I wanted it to be) project!
