Just received my cheque from Conwy MCC, sent to prevent me riding naked to the rally.

Cashed.

The old women at Dolwen Garage Cafe are going to be in for a laugh.

Once you have seen one cumberland............................

Is that why they call them a ring. ;D

:o Now I'm worried. Do you suppose having your own teeth is sufficient? Ability to only go marginally purple after 2 flights of stairs?

Ticket #68 arrived here though  ;D

Oh, that'll mean that there is a carpark at the bottom and a 3 mile uphill walk to the campsite - you need to be fit to carry all your own gear  to the campsite ...yes that is what they'll be driving at.

Got mine today. Which is a little odd seeing as I've sold my bike, all my bike gear* and all my camping gear. What the phuk was I thinking? But I'm sure between now and then, assuming that some leaden Arabic bureaucrat doesn't suddenly awaken from his slumbers and I'm dragged kicking and screaming to warmer parts, I will be able to blag all the requisite bits!

You're welcome to borrow my camping gear, Boyd.  It's not like I'll be using it at that time of year ;)

But sorry, you can't borrow the Beemer.

Hi Boyd, If you get stuck for two wheeled transport, I'll lend you one. Let me know nearer the time.

Trevor & Dave
When an inverterant blagger such as myself posts such an outrageous request and gets two very welcomed replies it makes me realise why I like this club so much. Although our paths only rarely cross, and truth be told we don't really know each other that well, there are several members I would class as real mates who can always be relied upon to offer assistance, piss taking, or usually both.

Thanks so much for your generous offers which, depending on how things pan out over the next week work wise, I will serious consider taking you up on.

Boyd
