Started work on the carb adapter, and insulator. Opened them up to match the head, just need to get the spigot welded to the flange, then thats finished

That looks like a top quality job. I had better results across the rev range with a short inlet tract. I did have the bracket for the voltage regulator cut-off though so longer might be necessary if its for road use. I had to make a flange as well as I was told that welding the stock flange was a bit hit and miss because of the high zinc content.

I cut the inlet length so that it would be 31cm from the valve face to the bellmouth intake which is the resonant length that I needed. I know a good tig welder who can do the job ok
