Cliff(bratxt) and Oz are also up for this, especially when I said SteveD was buying the drinks all weekend to mark his 60th, Tim, Cliff also likes cider.  ;)

I had to assure them that Ronnie wouldn't be there. :)

Hey Tim. Oz & I are defo up for Shepherds Rest. I have managed to tempt the great Oz outta his hermit hole! I was all up for booking the ferry but Mark told me to hold my horses til nearer the time. So Steve don't worry, there is no way you will be buying the drinks on your 60th, you can expect a few beers from me. Not sure if you will get much birthday liquid refreshment out of Oz and the other tight arse gits! Anyway, ramblings need to stop and it just remains for me to wish everybody I know in the Thumper Club a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy & Prosperous New Year. Peace to All. Cliff (BradXT).

Nice one Jethro, as I know you've had things tight the last couple of years. Just hope we're not up to Storm Zebidee by then :-\
Just a point of interest, on the Sunday, 1st May there is a mass ride out of the NACC, who are hoping to ride over 100 miles around Lough Neagh on their tiddlers. Might be worth going for a look  :)

Howdy all and a Happy New Year.

Now this is important.
Last year a few of us met at Llanfairfechan, to use the bunkhouse, on the Thursday Evening, before we got the Friday morning Ferry across to Ireland.
Sam from Platts Farm (the bunkhouse) has been in touch with me advising that there are others interested in booking the bunkhouse at pretty much the same time, but will give us preference.
I know it's early, but can I get some indication of numbers who might want to stay on the Thursday evening at the bunkhouse as we did last year in order for me to make some arrangement.

Cheers Steve.

If anyone reading this is interested can you get back to me ASAP.

I suppose there is always room to camp at Platte Farm anyway  :-\
I have been in touch with Alex, the guy organising the ABR forum meet at the Shepherds Rest, the same weekend as us, and he's totally sound about us all pitching in together, though they will probably do there own thing on the saturday  :)

Hi Timbo, did you mention to him that we have in the past used Slims on the Sunday morning for breakfast?
He has posted that he has not arranged any facility for brekkie on the Sunday so far. May be worth a nod.

Just sayin.

Hi Steve
I was thinking of Fishguard - Rosslare for the trip as it's the closest option. But all things are possible ! I'll check with Cliff and any others to see what's happening.
Cheers and Happy New Year.

Hi OZ, just to let you know, Rosslare up to Dublin and round the M50 ring road is a very boring run if you just need to get north quick on the main roads. I prefer a spin up through Wales if I'm coming from south wales, however, you've maybe ridden those roads too many times  :-\
And yes, Steve, I will definitely mention Slims cafe to Alex again, as he wasn't familiar with it.
