As you say Tim, this is the third time I've owned this particular bike. It must be about ten years since I first bought it. Flight over to Manchester, then the train down to Darwen near Blackburn. It was a small dealership selling second hand stuff only, can't remember the name. Anyway, took the long way home, up to Stranraer, then over on the ferry. Happy days.

Ron.

I'd love to hear the story on this, if you have the time. I mean, 3 times! Did you keep tabs on her throughout, or did chance play a part? Call me an old romantic, but seems like she was made for you and you'll have to give up selling her - unless you're making money each time?!

The bike in question, has basically, just been sold between the four of us, who all know each other, and are in the same bike club  ;)

The second word is "off".

To reply to an earlier post from Mthee, I'm starting to think maybe it is meant to be. Although I have also owned a Moto Guzzi V50 3 times as well. Same thing again, couple of mates chopping and changing. As for making money, the best I've ever done is break even on a bike. I'm afraid heart rules the head when it comes to bikes.

It must be great to be so old you've got the opportunity of re-purchasing your previous bikes not only once but twice.  ;)
