This is moving slowly, GC has the back wheel at a friends being machined and I am trying to resolve the gear change / kickstart issue and the weight of it all as I move it around.
Sitting in the bath tonight I was wondering about the offset needed to compensate for the skimming back of faces to get the compression up - it has a 2mm less than standard crank - and how this would have to wait until the frame was off being welded when it occurred to me - if I was to strip the motor, the empty cases / barrel / head would weigh less and thus be easier to set up inn the frame. Bloody genius me - just need to get the workshop clear enough to rip down a Rotax..
Oh don't you just love spell checkers - get the chance to hit "Ignore" when it highlights GC (sorry Graham couldn't resist)
