Well ......I finally managed to remove the engine last Sunday with the help of one of my sons,Either we were doing something wrong
or they are a pig to get out
,Anyway it should go in a bit easier as I will have an idea of what to do now..I've been cleaning a few of the smaller parts up and they are not to bad a nick so will put back as is,My son is going to blast and paint the chain guard and side stand (both a bit too rusty to leave) and I am debating wether to leave the centre stand off as it is a tad on the heavy side (bit like me
) Next up is a damned good going over of the frame and swing arm and get some polish on there then attack the alloy rims and hubs...........then it's the bit I don't like .. spending some money on the new mudguard and seat etc.and sorting the brakes and fork seals, buying tyres and tubes and lying to the wife about how much I have spent..
